About the work

Imported Grade-A double-woven velvet fabric; features *Zartoshti-duzi* (Zoroastrian-style) embroidery using natural silk and gold thread on a handwoven cotton base; finished with gold-thread edging and a handwoven fabric lining; the beaded tassels, fringe, and bag strap are entirely handmade.
